Tom Davis Wild Horse Buyer

Tom Davis, a Colorado rancher and livestock hauler purchased 1,794 horses and burros between 2008 and 2012 saving the WH & B Program millions of dollars a year in long and short term pasture costs.  At the same time the thousands of horses in long and short term holding were costing the Program 10’s of millions of dollars a year.  It is simple, sell the horses without reserve or be willing to pay 100’s of millions for long term storage.

Most if not all of the horses sold ended up at a slaughter house as most livestock do.   If the horses are not sold 100’s of millions will be needed for off range holding.
