Advisory Board

The National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board is an independent panel comprised of nine members of the public that makes recommendations to the BLM and the U.S. Forest Service regarding management of wild horses and burros on public rangelands. The Board is comprised of stakeholders from a broad range of backgrounds, such as the ranching, veterinary, and advocacy communities.  No current or former BLM employees serve on the board.
