Horse Sense………Hors-Sens

Horse sense is not common.  Those who use it seem to easily make good decisions.  It doesn’t come naturally.  It can’t be taught.  It may be demonstrated and learned with effort.  It is developing and maintaining good thinking skills.  It is knowing where to find knowledge.  It is knowing when and how to use yours and others experience.  It takes effort but make life easier.  Understanding fallacies and logic lead to better decisions.  Avoiding conspiracy theories and rhetoric make for better thought.

Most important may be the attempt to find reality instead of what you want.  What you want doesn’t change reality, but reality is what you will eventually get.  I don’t have it and am unable to give it but would like to share my thoughts on gaining better horse sense.

Horse sense is worth exploring and the effort to use it.
